That Bald Chick: Smartick Math Review

Virginia is the mom and blogger behind That Bald Chick, where she shares stories about her family, homeschooling, crafts, recipes, and much more. In her most recent post she writes about Smartick; she tells us how she never enjoyed math as a student, and how our learning method has changed the game for her whole family.math“I want my kids to enjoy learning math, but my ambivalence toward the subject sometimes negates my enthusiasm for teaching them. I recently discovered the Smartick Method and thought it could be a viable solution.”

Smartick’s Artificial Intelligence adapts to your child’s learning pace. Based around a daily 15-minute session, your child progresses their own pace, building self-confidence and avoiding frustration. Most importantly, children develop a positive attitude towards math. Virginia mentions how the program has her kids working at their level without feeling intimidated.

“Each of my kiddos can work at their math level without feeling intimidated.”

Here is a video of one of her kids working on fractions!

The reports to parents and Smartick’s detailed dashboard play an important part for her too. Being able to monitor the performance of the kids directly from a phone is easy and convenient. Parents also receive an email with a summary of the session and explanation of the topics their kids worked on that day.

“I also love that I can use the parent dashboard to determine which areas each of them need help in. And which tutorials we need to watch. I can also check to see if they are doing their session when I’m not at home using the Smartick Tutor app.”

Smartick offers a free trial for all families who would like to try our program. Find out how your children can learn and enjoy math at the same time: click here to learn more!
