The David Lee EdTech website provides visitors with an overview of educational technology solutions and STEM resources for elementary school children. David offers his readers plenty of ideas to implement in the classroom and at home, and wants to encourage teachers and families alike to integrate technology into their daily educational activities.
That’s why we were thrilled when he invited us to write a guest post about Smartick on his site. His readers sure understand the importance of the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to the future career prospects of their children, and will enjoy learning about Smartick.
Sometimes as parents we consider a number of after-school activities for our children but fail to see how some extra math can open up a thousand doors for them. Only 15 minutes a day of Smartick can give children that extra boost in math, improve their grades in school and help them develop enough self-confidence to help them accomplish harder tasks. David himself is the elementary STEM Coordinator at Korea International School (KIS) in Seongnam, Korea. As the STEM Coordinator, he contributes to the vision and execution of the school’s STEM program and engages students in developing their science and math ‘identities’ through open-ended inquiry-based activities.
